About Jill Sladoje:
While originally from elsewhere, I’ve lived in Charlotte since 1994, longer than I have lived anywhere. I came here from Southern California, where I was an outside ad sales representative for a publishing company whose main clients were Chamber of Commerce and military bases, publishing membership directories and base telephone directories and maps. My move to Charlotte was to do the same type of work, selling advertisements for the city’s visitor guide. I left that business in 1996 to work in residential real estate sales for a locally owned real estate firm. I branched out in 2003, starting my own venture that autumn that evolved to Bluebird Real Estate Services in 2013.
Originally from Ohio, I graduated in 1990 with a degree in Finance from Ohio State University, so numbers are my strong suit. Good financial decision making is a cornerstone of my business process in helping buyers, sellers and landlords. For many, the purchase of a home is the single largest financial decision they can make and I like to help make the most of it for them. And after having gone through the great recession, helping many accidental landlords recover and salvage their investment.
Currently, I live in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte, one of Charlotte’s oldest communities and one of the coolest. I live there with my partner, Mark Lynch and our band of misfit dogs and am actively involved in the neighborhood and overall Charlotte community. - Jill Sladoje
"Jill has been such a great resource over the years. Most recently she helped my wife and I turn a challenging property into a rental that was never without a tenant and eventually sell it when the time was right. She also helped us buy our first home together. Jill has been with us for a variety of property transactions and we have been pleased with the results every time!"Dustin Elliot
We changed the name of the brokerage in 2013 to better encompass the property management aspect of our real estate practice. It is an homage to Mark’s memory of his grandfather.
